German trio who improvise their krautrock in long single takes and release it at an alarming rate — motorik pulse, fuzz haze, and very little standing between the jam and the record.

Kombynat Robotron formed in Greifswald, on Germany's Baltic coast, in 2018. The group works instrumentally and largely without written material, building tracks from repeated drum figures, circling bass lines and layers of effected guitar, with pieces often stretching well past the ten-minute mark. The results sit close to the older German psychedelic and jam traditions, favouring gradual shifts in intensity over structure, and the band has kept up a steady stream of self-released recordings since forming.
