About Breakaway Philadelphia 2026

Breakaway is a touring festival brand that plays over a dozen U.S. cities a year, and the Philadelphia stop takes over the Festival Grounds at Subaru Park — the soccer stadium's riverfront lot in Chester, about twenty minutes down I-95 from Center City. Two nights, 4pm to midnight both days, 18+.

The two days are pitched differently. Friday is the house and open-format night: Tiësto headlining, Sofi Tukker bringing the only live-vocal set on the bill, and Malaa working under his harder Alter Ego alias. Saturday turns toward bass and trap — ISOxo, Devault and Whethan up top, with Marshmello closing, which for once is a hometown booking rather than a touring one.

Lineups are printed A-Z per day, so the day splits are official even though set times aren't out yet. Three club-tier names sit under each headline block; those are the slots most likely to move once the schedule lands.

Expect electronic, house, dubstep and bass across 26 acts.

The headliners

  • Tiësto The elder statesman of big-tent dance music — trance godfather turned arena-house fixture, still detonating 'The Business'-sized hooks three decades in.
  • Marshmello The producer in the marshmallow helmet, who turned festival-sized melodic drops into a pop career without ever showing his face — 'Alone', 'Silence' and 'Happier' all live here.

Up-and-comers to catch early

  • KLO An LA bass and UK-garage riser who has been climbing festival undercards all year — worth catching in a tent before the rooms get bigger.
  • Tavatli One of Saturday's least-known names and the sort of booking Breakaway tends to be early on.
  • Capochino A dubstep name that keeps turning up on this year's bass bills — one of the heavier bookings on the Friday undercard.
  • 2ŁØT Melodic bass with a pop-leaning ear; a Steve Aoki remix credit is the tell for where this is heading.

Other acts worth planning around

  • Marshmello The Saturday closer, and a Philadelphia native — the rare headliner playing an hour from where he grew up.
  • Tiësto Friday's closer and the elder statesman of the weekend, still the most reliable big-room set in dance music.
  • SOFI TUKKER The only act here performing rather than DJing — live vocals and guitar in the middle of a two-day DJ bill.
  • Malaa (Alter Ego) Not the usual Malaa set — the Alter Ego alias runs darker and harder than the main project.
  • ISOxo Saturday's heaviest draw, and the act most responsible for what young bass music sounds like right now.
