Norwegian brothers making melodic, festival-facing house — polished grooves engineered for golden-hour main stages, sleek Scandinavian craft with real emotional lift.

Kream is a duo of brothers, Daniel and Markus Slettebakken, from Bergen, Norway, who began releasing dance music as teenagers and have worked steadily in house and tech house since.

Their early single "Taped Up Heart," with vocals from Clara Mae, gave them a wide audience outside Norway and set the template for much of what followed. Released after they signed to Atlantic/Big Beat Records in 2017, it reached number 22 on Billboard's Hot/Dance Electronic Songs chart and has since been streamed close to 100 million times.

A year later, "Decisions," featuring Maia Wright, reached number 39 on the Billboard Dance chart. During the 2020 pandemic shutdown the brothers launched Liqud:Lab, a livestream series filmed at striking locations around Norway, and that December "About You" made them the first Norwegian act to reach number one on 1001Tracklist. Their first EP, Reverie, followed in December 2022.

Their productions pair clean, club-ready grooves with sung toplines and melodic breakdowns, sitting between straightforward house and the more song-shaped end of festival electronic music. Live, the pair play as a DJ team, working their own material in alongside remixes and edits.
