Chris Lorenzo is a producer and DJ from Birmingham, England, and one of the figures associated with the UK bass house sound. He first drew attention as one half of the duo Cause & Affect before moving to solo work. His productions combine rolling, sub-heavy basslines with garage and hip-hop rhythmic phrasing, often built around chopped vocal samples, and he has released on labels including Black Book Records and Confession.
