Matroda is a Croatian DJ and producer from Split who works in the overlap between bass house and tech house. His records tend to be built around a tight, swung groove and a distorted bass hook, and much of his early reputation came from club edits and bootlegs of familiar vocals reworked for a big room. He has released through labels associated with the US house and bass scene, and also runs his own imprint, Terminal Underground, which puts out music by other producers working in a similar vein.
