About Strings & Sol 2026
Strings & Sol is a destination festival rather than a field: five days at the Sapphire Resort & Spa and Dreams Riviera Cancun in Puerto Morelos, December 9 to 13, where the ticket and the room are the same purchase and roughly twenty concerts are played to one travelling crowd.
Greensky Bluegrass and Yonder Mountain String Band host and play three sets each. Railroad Earth, The Infamous Stringdusters and Leftover Salmon take two apiece, with Béla Fleck bringing My Bluegrass Heart, and Sierra Hull, Jerry Douglas and Sam Bush filling out a bill that is close to a who's who of the American progressive bluegrass scene.
The three stages are a beachfront main stage, a poolside gazebo and an open-air palapa that takes the late sets. The event has sold out and is running a waitlist.
Expect bluegrass, jam, country and newgrass across 11 acts.
