Dom Dolla is the recording name of Dominic Matheson, a producer and DJ from Melbourne, Australia. He works primarily in tech house, building tracks around uncluttered, heavily weighted basslines and vocal hooks designed to carry across large rooms and outdoor crowds.
He came to wider notice with "Take It", and has since had a run of singles including "San Frandisco", "Pump the Brakes" and "Miracle Maker". He has also collaborated repeatedly with fellow Australian producer Sonny Fodera. His music has found a substantial audience outside Australia, particularly in the United States and the United Kingdom, and he performs mainly as a DJ.
