Vintage Culture is the recording name of Brazilian DJ and producer Lukas Ruiz, who grew up in Mato Grosso do Sul. He built an audience through remixes and edits before moving into original house and tech house productions, and became one of the most widely booked Brazilian dance acts of his generation.
His sets and records favour melodic, vocal-led house with a strong emotional pull, built for large rooms and outdoor stages rather than small clubs. He has worked with a range of international dance labels and collaborators, and remains a substantial draw in Brazil, where his shows have filled some of the country's largest venues.
