Alok is a Brazilian DJ and producer from Goiânia, born into a family already involved in electronic music — his parents were part of the country's early psytrance scene. He works primarily in a style often labelled Brazilian bass, characterised by rolling, deep basslines under house-tempo arrangements, and has also recorded pop-facing collaborations with international vocalists. He is among the most widely booked electronic acts to come out of Brazil, and performs regularly at large-scale events worldwide.
