Italian trio behind some of the decade's biggest vocal house records, built for very large rooms — 'Piece of Your Heart' just the start.

Meduza are an Italian production trio made up of Mattia Vitale, Simone Giani and Luca De Gregorio. They emerged in 2019 with 'Piece of Your Heart', a collaboration with British duo Goodboys that became a large international hit and set the template for much of what followed: clean, propulsive house arrangements built around a single strong vocal hook.

'Piece of Your Heart' reached number two on the UK Singles Chart and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. Meduza followed it with 'Lose Control,' again with Goodboys and this time also featuring Becky Hill, which won Best Dance Song at the 2020 International Dance Music Awards.

Later singles included 'Paradise' with Dermot Kennedy, leaning on the same balance of melodic vocal writing and club-oriented production. Their live shows follow suit, favouring big-room house pacing and material that works as readily on radio as on a festival system.

In November 2020 the group performed a live set at Cava dei Balestrieri in San Marino, streamed on Twitch through a Live Nation and Fuser video game tie-in. Streaming numbers have grown steadily since: 'Lose Control' has passed one billion plays on Spotify, 'Piece of Your Heart' has done the same, and 'Paradise' sits above 840 million, with more than five billion streams across the group's catalogue.
