Victor Ruiz is a producer and DJ from São Paulo who came up through Brazil's club scene before his tracks started landing on European techno labels, Drumcode among them. His productions tend to be built for peak-time rooms: long, driving kick patterns underneath synth lines that climb and resolve rather than stay flat, with breakdowns stretched out far enough to reset a floor. He works mostly in that melodic, high-energy register of techno that carries across festival-sized sound systems, and he plays regularly in both Brazil and Europe.
