Pattie Gonia is the drag persona of a Nebraska-raised performer and photographer who built an audience by combining drag with hiking, backpacking and conservation work. The character emerged from images of drag done outdoors — heels on trails, gowns in the backcountry — and grew into a platform for queer visibility in outdoor recreation and environmental organizing.
