Angerfist is the main alias of Danny Masseling, a Dutch producer and DJ working in hardcore techno and gabber. Based in the Netherlands, he became one of the most visible figures in the genre through a steady stream of releases and appearances across the European hardcore circuit.
His productions are built on distorted kick drums at high tempos, layered with samples lifted from horror and crime films, and he has recorded under several other aliases over the years. Performances are staged with a hockey-style mask, which has become the project's identifying image.
