Darren Styles is a British producer, DJ and vocalist who has been one of the central figures in UK hardcore since the late 1990s. He first worked under a range of aliases in the happy hardcore scene and was half of the duo Force & Styles with Paul Force, whose records became staples of the rave tape-pack era. His solo material leans on piano melodies, sped-up vocals and four-on-the-floor kicks at hardcore tempo, and he has also recorded as part of Styles & Breeze.
Alongside the hardcore output he has collaborated with producers from harder dance and bass styles, and remains a regular presence on UK rave line-ups. He sings on many of his own records as well as producing them.
