DJ Mad Dog is one of the more recognisable names in Italian hardcore, long associated with the Bologna-based Traxtorm Records, a label central to the country's gabber output since the 1990s. His productions and sets sit in the mainstream hardcore lane: fast, distorted kick patterns, blunt vocal hooks and breakdowns designed to carry across a large hall rather than a small club. He has been a regular presence at the bigger European hardcore events for many years, and his releases circulate widely on compilations tied to that circuit.
