Los Fastidios
Italian antifascist oi! and ska with three decades of unambiguous politics behind it — terrace anthems for the right side of history.
Los Fastidios formed in Verona in 1991, and only one member from that original lineup, vocalist Enrico, remains in the band today. The group has been through several rounds of personnel change across more than three decades of activity, while keeping its sound and message consistent.
Their music combines oi! with ska and street punk: shouted gang choruses, simple chord progressions, occasional horns, built for football terraces and squat shows alike. The lyrics deal directly with antifascism, anti-racism and terrace culture itself, sung across Italian, English and Spanish.
The band is often identified with the SHARP movement, skinheads against racial prejudice, placing them within a specific strand of skinhead culture built in opposition to fascism. They have toured extensively across Europe and Latin America, largely through squats, social centres and independent promoters, staying close to the wider Rash and antifascist skinhead network.
Since 2020 the lineup has paired Enrico with guitarist Filippo 'Bibol', bassist Midio, vocalist Elisa Dixan and drummer Mattia, with Simone 'Coppi' also playing drums alongside him, a lineup that replaced an earlier one built around guitarist Mario and bassist Luca.
