Jeffrey Sfire is a DJ and producer who came up in Detroit and later based himself in New York. His sets draw on italo disco, hi-NRG, EBM and body music, along with colder strains of synth pop and early industrial dance — records built on drum machines, arpeggiated bass and heavily treated vocals. He is known as a record collector as much as a selector, and has been a regular presence in queer club nights in both cities.
