Judeline
Spanish singer from the Cádiz coast, folding flamenco melisma into hushed, digital pop production. Born in 2003 and singing like someone twice that.
Judeline is the stage name of Lara Fernández Castrelo, born in Jerez de la Frontera and raised mostly in Los Caños de Meca, on the Atlantic coast of Cádiz. She took her name from 'Hey Jude,' her father's favourite song. She moved to Madrid in 2020, at seventeen, to continue her studies, and began releasing music around the same time.
Her singing carries the ornamentation of flamenco cante, set against sparse electronic production and reverb-heavy programming rather than guitar and palmas. She has recorded with producers working in the same Spanish alt-pop orbit, starting with a first collaboration with Alizzz in 2020.
She released her first EP, de la luz, independently in 2022, and signed to Interscope Records the following year. Singles including 'TÁNGER,' 'ZAHARA' and 'CANIJO' built her profile in Spain through 2023, and in 2024 she opened European dates on J Balvin's tour.
Her songs move between Spanish-language pop, reggaeton rhythms and something closer to ambient. 'Mangata' and a collaboration with DELLAFUENTE, 'Romero Santo,' led into Bodhiria, her debut album, released in October 2024. A later collaboration with Duki, 'Imperio,' reached the top 15 of the Spanish charts.
She then toured behind the album across Spain, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Britain and the Americas, and released the single 'TU ET MOI,' featuring MC Morena, in 2025.
