Parallel Worlds is the project of Greek electronic musician Bakis Sirros, who has recorded under the name since the 1990s. The music is built largely from modular and analogue synthesis, and leans toward dark ambient and experimental electronics: slowly evolving drones, granular textures and abstract sound design, with rhythm often absent or heavily submerged. Sirros has released through labels associated with ambient and Berlin-school electronic music, and has also collaborated with other artists working in that field.
