Ukrainian duo whose melodic techno went from small rooms to main stages on the back of a handful of enormous records.

ARTBAT are a duo from Kyiv, Ukraine, formed in the mid-2010s, whose name combines the two members' nicknames. They work in melodic techno and melodic house, building tracks around rolling basslines, long arrangements and synth hooks that resolve slowly rather than arriving as sudden drops. Releases and remixes circulated through the European melodic techno scene of the late 2010s carried them from club bookings to large outdoor stages, and they have since become regular fixtures at major electronic events across Europe.
