Matteo Milleri's solo project, pairing cavernous melodic techno with AI-rendered visual worlds built for the biggest screens available — half DJ set, half sci-fi planetarium.

Anyma is the solo project of Matteo Milleri, the Italian-American producer who is also one half of the duo Tale of Us. Based in Berlin, he co-founded the Afterlife label and event series, which helped define a strain of dark, cinematic melodic techno.

Under the Anyma name he has leaned further into audiovisual production, building shows around large-scale digital imagery and recurring android and humanoid motifs, and collaborating with visual artists on the accompanying artwork and NFT work. The music keeps the long, slow-building arrangements and minor-key melodic hooks of the Afterlife sound while making more room for vocal features.
