Chris Avantgarde is a German producer and DJ working in melodic techno. Trained as a pianist before moving into electronic production, he builds tracks around long, gradual arrangements, sustained pads and piano or string figures set against heavy low end. He has released on Afterlife, the label and event series run by Tale of Us, and has collaborated with artists from that circle, including work with Anyma.
