Ben UFO is a London-based DJ, born Ben Thomson, and a co-founder of the Hessle Audio label alongside Pearson Sound and Pangaea. Unusually for a DJ of his standing, he does not produce records, and his reputation rests entirely on selection and mixing. His sets draw on UK bass music, dubstep, techno, house and older hardcore and jungle records, often moving between them within a single mix rather than staying in one lane. He has hosted a long-running Hessle Audio radio show on Rinse FM and appears regularly at clubs across Europe, frequently playing extended sets.
