Swedish producer who treats techno as a materials problem — brittle, physical rhythm tracks that sound like machinery going wrong on purpose.

Peder Mannerfelt is a Swedish producer who previously released as The Subliminal Kid and works as half of the duo Roll the Dice with Malcolm Pardon. He also contributed to Fever Ray's debut album, and runs the label Peder Mannerfelt Produktion.

His solo work approaches techno as sound design first: dry, hard-edged percussion, processed vocal fragments and rhythms that lurch or misfire rather than settle. The results sit between the club and the experimental electronic tradition, and often keep the machinery audible rather than smoothing it out.
