Instrumental records that sound unearthed rather than made — Turkish psych, Japanese jazz and seventies library music assembled with archivist care.

Sven Wunder is the recording alias of a Stockholm-based musician and composer who releases instrumental albums through the Piano Piano label. The records draw on Anatolian psychedelia, Japanese jazz, and the European library and soundtrack music of the late sixties and seventies, using period instrumentation, string and woodwind arrangements and analogue recording techniques. The project has kept a low profile, with little biographical information made public, and the albums are often organised around a theme or visual concept.
