Eric Prydz is a Swedish DJ and producer, born in 1976, who first reached a wide audience with 'Call on Me' in 2004. He works under several names, using Pryda for melodic progressive house and Cirez D for stripped-back techno, and released the album Opus in 2016. 'Pjanoo' remains among his most recognised productions.
Prydz is known for meticulous studio work and for large-scale live productions, including the EPIC shows and the HOLO concept, which uses holographic projection and extensive lighting design. He has a reputation for withholding unreleased material for long periods, testing tracks in his sets years before issuing them.
