Martin Garrix is a DJ and producer from Amstelveen in the Netherlands. He broke through as a teenager with the instrumental "Animals", a big-room house track that became a club and chart hit across Europe, and he has worked at the top level of festival dance music since. His productions span big-room and progressive house, electro house and more melodic, vocal-led material, including collaborations with pop singers and other producers. He founded the STMPD RCRDS label, which releases both his own work and records by other electronic artists, and he has topped DJ Mag's reader poll on several occasions.
