Hardwell is the stage name of Robbert van de Corput, a DJ and producer from Breda in the Netherlands. He emerged in the late 2000s and became one of the central figures in big-room house, releasing tracks built for large rooms and running the Revealed Recordings label. He stepped away from touring in 2018, and on returning shifted towards a faster, darker and more techno-influenced sound while retaining the arrangement and build-up logic of his earlier work.
