Afrojack
Dutch producer whose fingerprints are on a startling share of 2010s pop radio — big-room electro-house drops and pop collaborations that made him a main-stage fixture worldwide.
Afrojack is the stage name of Nick van de Wall, a Dutch producer and DJ born in Spijkenisse. He came to prominence around 2010 with "Take Over Control" and through work in the Dutch house scene, and his production style — big-room electro-house with stark, percussive drops — became a template for a large part of the era's dance music.
Beyond his own singles he has produced and co-written for pop artists, including work on David Guetta's Nothing but the Beat era, and he runs the Wall Recordings label. He has remained a fixture of large-scale club and arena DJ bills.
