Scandinavian duo with a bright, hyperactive take on bass music and a big Monstercat catalogue — neon drops with pop bones.

Pegboard Nerds began in 2012 as a collaboration between Danish producer Alexander Odden and Norwegian producer Michael Parsberg. Their output covers electro house, dubstep, drumstep and glitch hop, generally built around bright synth leads, vocal hooks and sharply compressed drops, with pop song structures underneath the heavier sound design.

Much of their catalogue was released through Monstercat, the label closely associated with that strand of online bass music in the 2010s, and they became one of its more prolific acts. They have also produced remixes for other electronic artists and collaborated widely within the same scene.
