Israeli producer who coined 'gorestep' — deliberately obnoxious, and very good at it, with filthy drops engineered to offend and delight simultaneously.
Borgore is Asaf Borger, an Israeli producer and DJ from Tel Aviv. He trained as a musician and played drums in a metal band before moving into electronic production, and became known for a strain of dubstep he labelled "gorestep": heavy, distorted drops paired with deliberately crude lyrics and imagery.
He runs the Buygore label and has released widely across dubstep and trap, with "Decisions" among his better-known tracks. His work has drawn criticism as often as praise, which he has generally treated as part of the act.
