Alison Wonderland
Classically trained cellist turned bass heavyweight who sings on her own emotionally raw records — trap-sized drops carrying genuinely vulnerable songwriting underneath.
Alison Wonderland is the stage name of Alexandra Sholler, an Australian producer, DJ and singer from Sydney. She trained as a cellist and played in bands before moving into electronic production, and she sings and writes on much of her own material rather than relying on guest vocalists.
Her records combine heavy, trap-influenced low end and festival-scale drops with lyrics that deal openly with anxiety, heartbreak and mental health. That contrast — confessional writing over aggressive bass music — has become the defining feature of her work. She has built a substantial following in the United States as well as Australia, and also performs as one half of the duo Whyte Fang.
