Cassian is the recording name of Australian producer Cassian Stewart-Kasimba, who began releasing music in Sydney and later became closely associated with RÜFÜS DU SOL, working with the group as a producer and mix engineer as well as remixing their material. His own tracks lean toward melodic house, built around long build-ups, warm synth textures and vocal-led hooks, and he has released through dance labels including Rose Avenue.
