Steve Angello is a Swedish DJ and producer, born in Athens to Greek parents and raised in Stockholm. He founded the label Size Records and built a reputation through the mid-2000s house scene, both solo and in collaborations with Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell. The three worked together as Swedish House Mafia, whose run of singles and arena shows made them one of the more visible dance acts of the era before their initial split, and who later reunited.
His own productions lean toward big-room and progressive house, with hard, percussive drops and long build-ups, though he has also released work with darker and more experimental leanings, including a solo album project.
