Swedish House Mafia is the Stockholm trio of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, formed in 2008 out of a shared history in the Swedish house scene. Their music sits in progressive and electro house, built around long builds, big synth leads and vocal hooks designed to carry across large outdoor crowds.
The group announced a split in the early 2010s and later reunited, returning with new material and live shows. Their catalogue includes some of the most widely recognized dance singles of their era, and the three members have continued to release solo and paired work alongside the group.
