Tove Lo is a Swedish singer and songwriter from Stockholm, born Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson. She first drew attention with "Habits (Stay High)", which became an international hit, and has since released a run of albums built on electropop and dance-pop production.

Her writing is frank about sex, drink and drugs, and about the emotional aftermath of both, delivered in a slightly hoarse voice over bright synth arrangements. She also works as a songwriter for other pop artists, and has collaborated with a wide range of producers and performers across pop and dance music.
