Alessi Rose
Diaristic pop with the edges left sharp — songs about wanting someone written with enough self-awareness to make the wanting funny.
Born Alessandra Rose Jones, Alessi Rose began writing songs at thirteen and later studied poetry at university in London. Towards the end of the UK's Covid lockdown she taught herself music production on a cracked copy of Logic Pro X and a fifteen-year-old Mac, working out the sound that would become her debut releases.
Her songs are written in the first person and deal largely with attraction, obsession and the awkwardness that comes with both, set to production that keeps a rough edge rather than smoothing everything out.
She released her debut single, "Say Ur Mine," in 2023, followed by "Hate This Part," before playing her first live show as a support act for Ella Jane. Since then she has put out three EPs, Rumination as Ritual, For Your Validation and Voyeur.
Her profile grew through support slots, opening shows on Noah Kahan's tour, on Dua Lipa's Radical Optimism Tour and on Tate McRae's Miss Possessive Tour. She signed to Warner Chappell Music and was named on Ticketmaster's Breakthrough 2025 list of emerging acts.
