Peggy Gou
Seoul-born, Berlin-forged selector — '(It Goes Like) Nanana' made her house music's biggest global fashion-crossover star.
Peggy Gou is a South Korean DJ and producer, born in Incheon and raised partly in London before settling in Berlin, where she became a regular presence in the city's club scene. Her productions blend house and techno with acid basslines, electro rhythms and vocals sung in Korean and English, and she has released on labels including Ninja Tune and Gudu, the imprint she founded.
She reached a much wider audience with the single "(It Goes Like) Nanana", which crossed from clubs into mainstream radio. Alongside music she has worked in fashion, including her own clothing line and collaborations with established labels.
