Rumkicks are a street punk band from Seoul, South Korea, formed by three women who take their cues directly from early-1980s British punk — the UK82 sound of buzzsaw guitars, shouted choruses and short, fast songs. They sing in both Korean and English, dress in the studs-and-spikes uniform of the era, and have built a following outside Korea partly through touring and playing to punk audiences in Europe and Japan.
