Riskee and the Ridicule formed in Chatham, Kent, and have spent their career combining hardcore punk guitars with the rhythmic phrasing and rapid-fire vocal delivery of grime. Fronted by Scott Picking, the band write about work, class and small-town frustration in plainly British terms, and their recordings mix shouted group choruses with verses that follow a rapper's cadence rather than a singer's.
