Charlotte de Witte is a Belgian DJ and producer from Ghent who began performing under the name Raving George before adopting her own name. Her sets and productions sit at the harder, faster end of contemporary techno, built around stripped-back drums, acid lines and long, tension-building arrangements. She runs the KNTXT label and event series, which she uses for her own releases and for curated club and festival programmes. De Witte has become one of the most widely booked techno DJs internationally, and is closely associated with the genre's return to prominence on large stages.
