Amelie Lens is a DJ and producer from Belgium who emerged from the country's club and warehouse scene in the mid-2010s. She works in a hard, hypnotic strain of techno built on driving kick patterns, looping acid lines and vocal fragments, and she runs the Lenske label, which releases her own music alongside records by other artists in the same orbit. Her sets favour sustained intensity over sharp shifts in mood, and she has become one of the more visible figures associated with the current wave of European peak-time techno, playing clubs and large outdoor events across Europe and beyond.
