Dutch producer riding the big-room-to-hard-techno pipeline with real conviction — main-stage scale at underground tempos, drops built for the biggest rigs.

Maddix is Pablo Rindt, born in 1990 and based in Rotterdam. He grew up playing the djembe, piano and drums, and got into electronic dance music and the production software FL Studio while still in high school.

He first built an audience in big-room house and EDM, releasing on labels such as Spinnin', Armada and Hardwell's Revealed Recordings, before shifting his output steadily toward harder and faster material: hard techno with hardstyle-adjacent kicks and stripped, hook-driven arrangements.

The move tracked a wider change in Dutch dance music in the late 2010s and early 2020s, as main-stage producers took up techno tempos. His sets keep the structural clarity of festival house while working with heavier percussion and darker tones.

In 2023 he was ranked 95th on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list, 11th among 1001 Tracklists' most-played producers and 7th on Beatport's best-selling techno artists chart. His records have drawn support from techno names such as Amelie Lens and DJ Umek alongside EDM and trance figures including Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tiesto and Armin van Buuren.
