Maddix is a Dutch DJ and producer based in Rotterdam. He first built an audience in big-room house and EDM, releasing on labels tied to that world, before shifting his output steadily toward harder and faster material — hard techno with hardstyle-adjacent kicks and stripped, hook-driven arrangements. The move tracked a wider change in Dutch dance music in the late 2010s and early 2020s, as main-stage producers took up techno tempos. His sets keep the structural clarity of festival house while working with heavier percussion and darker tones.
