Polish techno provocateur — fast, hard, and gleefully irreverent, rave intensity with an internet-native sense of humor.

VTSS is the alias of Martyna Maja, born in 1994 in Warsaw, Poland. She came up through the city's club scene, where she was involved with the Brutaż party series, before relocating to Berlin, a move that put her at the center of a harder, faster strain of European techno.

Her productions and DJ sets favor speed and abrasion over restraint, pulling in rave stabs, EBM basslines and industrial textures rather than the more minimal, austere end of techno. Tempo is treated as a tool rather than a limit.

She has increasingly folded her own vocals into her tracks, adding a direct, sung-and-shouted presence to material that could otherwise read as purely functional club music. Live, that translates into sets built for maximum intensity.

Alongside the music, VTSS has built a public persona that runs against techno's more serious traditions, leaning into an irreverent, internet-native sense of humor that sits oddly next to the severity of the sound itself.
