Reinier Zonneveld is a Dutch techno producer known for performing entirely live rather than DJing, building tracks on stage from hardware synthesisers, drum machines and sequencers. His music leans on acid basslines, long build-ups and a hard, fast strain of techno that has become closely associated with the current Dutch scene. He runs the Filth on Acid label, which releases his own work alongside like-minded producers. Sets are typically long and improvisational, with material reworked and extended in the moment, and he has become one of the more prominent figures presenting techno as a live instrumental performance.
