Dutch hardstyle from the genre's melodic wing, euphoric leads riding the reverse bass rather than burying it in distortion.

Frontliner is the hardstyle alias of a Dutch producer who came up through Scantraxx in the mid-2000s, when the genre was moving away from hard trance and settling into the reverse-bass template it still uses. His tracks tend to keep the melody in the foreground, with long synth leads and vocal hooks sitting over the kick rather than being pushed aside by it. He later ran his own imprint, Keep It Up Music, releasing his own material alongside other producers working the melodic end of the style. The Journey Set format pulls from across that back catalogue in one continuous mix.
