Dutch project behind 'Take Me Away' — vocal trance from the genre's commercial high-water mark.

4 Strings is a Dutch trance project founded by producer Carlo Resoort, working with a series of guest vocalists. The project emerged around the turn of the 2000s, when Dutch producers were central to the commercial peak of vocal trance, and is best known for "Take Me Away (Into the Night)", a reworking of material originally recorded by the Dutch group Diesel. Other singles, including "Diving" and "Turn It Around", followed in a similar mould: long melodic breakdowns, sung hooks and driving four-to-the-floor production.
