Kevin de Vries is a German producer and DJ based in Berlin, working in melodic techno and progressive house. He has released through Afterlife, the label run by Tale of Us, as well as other imprints in that orbit, and has collaborated with producers associated with the same scene.
His tracks favour long arcs and sustained tension: layered synth pads, arpeggios and slow builds over steady four-to-the-floor rhythms, arranged with the large-room sound systems of the Afterlife events in mind. He performs as a DJ rather than with a live band.
