Halle metalcore act balancing clean melodic hooks against screams, with a post-hardcore polish that has outlasted most of their scene peers.

Annisokay formed in Halle, Germany, in 2007, taking their name from the "Annie, are you OK?" line in Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal". They work in a melodic strain of metalcore, setting sung choruses against screamed passages and using clean production and occasional electronic detail. The band have gone through vocal line-up changes over the years while keeping the same broad approach, and have toured widely across Europe, becoming one of the more durable German acts to emerge from the late-2000s metalcore wave.
