Argentina's session-masked producer — the BZRP Music Sessions turned a bedroom format into Latin music's biggest stage.

Bizarrap was born Gonzalo Julián Conde in Ramos Mejía, Argentina, in 1998. He gravitated toward electronic music and DJing rather than singing, citing producers such as Skrillex, David Guetta and Martin Garrix as reference points. At fourteen he began studying music theory and piano, and started producing his own tracks soon after.

His career took shape in 2017 with Combos Locos, edited highlights from Buenos Aires freestyle battles that connected him with rappers including Lit Killah, Kodigo and Ecko. A remix of Duki's 'No Vendo Trap' became his first hit, and other artists followed. The first numbered Freestyle Session appeared in November 2018 with Kodigo, and the Music Sessions proper began the following February with Bhavi.

The series widened quickly, pulling in Nicki Nicole, Trueno, the Mexican rapper Alemán and Chilean singer Polimá Westcoast. Session 36, recorded with Nathy Peluso in 2020, became his first single to chart in the United States and went platinum in Spain; by that December he was the most-streamed Argentine artist in the world on Spotify.

Further sessions kept climbing the charts: number 38 with L-Gante topped Argentina's own Hot 100, and number 41 with Nicky Jam reached the Hot Latin Songs chart. Bizarrap picked up Latin Grammy nominations for Producer of the Year in 2021 and 2023, and in 2022 session 52 with Spanish rapper Quevedo topped the Billboard Global 200 and charts across Latin America and Europe.
